The freshest and most fantastic pupusas to grab on your way to a The SoFi, Forum or Intuit Dome for a concert or sporting event. To top it all off, the service is great, they are patient and kind and ready to make a suggestion anytime. The two of us ordered 3 pupusas (queso con lorocco, chicharon and queso), a bowl of caldo de res and a plate of yuca con chicharones. I also ordered a large horchata and ended up ordering one to go because it was so good! There's a good sized parking lot in this strip mall but it is a busy one at peak times. I'm definitely coming back for more.

The best pupusas are in cerro verde. We've had several pupusas in El Salvador itself and all over California and Washington. This place cannot be beat. We've been customers for 20 years when they were In Hawthorne. We'd come here all the time. The tamal is so good! No one makes tamales as good as theirs. The hot chocolate is amazing too! We love it. We fortunately do not get the salvi servers with the attitude. Over all clean space. Best pupusas in western americas

Catering review: Best pupusas around! I used El Cerro Verde to cater a party, and they were fantastic. Everyone, including the pupusa officianados, raved about the pupusas. Great pricing as well, especially for what you are getting. SERVICE (5/5) Juan was very professional, communicative, and easy to work with. I received a sheet with detailed breakdown of costs. I received quick responses. They showed up early, and had everything ready early. Super friendly with guests. I was very impressed! FOOD (5/5) Simply mouthwateringly delicious! I actually have been eating this families pupusas for over 20 years from their old restaurant in Hawthorne. After many years, these pupusas did not disappoint and were even more delicious than I remember. Great flavor, texture, and good proportion. We also ordered a side of "platanos y frijoles con crema" (plantains, beans, with sour cream) and it was very delicious, many people had not had this before and loved it. They also offer juice option, we chose jamaica and passion fruit, which were also big hits. I highly recommend this company for your catering event!

Haven't returned since last year. Food is still delicious! We ordered a whole spread of food. Pupusas revueltas, pupusas with queso con lorrocco, yucca frita, plátanos fritos con frijoles y crema and a breakfast platter with casamiento. The food was good, portion size good and cost is about average. They recently moved next door since April they shared, much bigger setting, places to sit down with our big family of 9. Servers were hospitable and continuously checked on us to make sure everything was well. Definitely recommend. Going to be our favorite go to when in town.

Leaving LAX I decided pupusas sounded good. Came here and it was clean and the staff was actually very nice and welcoming! Their menu is simple, which I can appreciate. The pupusas were good and their quesadilla Salvadoreña was quite good! If I'm in the area, I'd definitely give them a try again!
